Comments: L is just… He’s what I imagine a young, but fully developed L without his current resources would be. If that makes sense. And Watari’s reaction upon meeting him - that respect and “He can be great” …actually makes me think of Raito and L cross comparisons. Huh. But I rarely see fics that nail L’s characterization so perfectly, and this is just wonderfully, wonderfully done.
