Through a Glass Darkly
Characters/Pairings: Al-centric, post-anime.
Warnings: End of series spoilers.
Summary: With Ed shining so brightly, it is easy to forget that Alphonse is a genius as well. Alphonse finds what it is like to lose the shadow cast by his brother’s genius.
Comments: Oh wow. This is everything I loved about Al from the beginning. Ed’s the hero of the series, and a genius, but people forget just how talented Al is, as well. And this is just beautifully written, dealing with Al after the end of the series, and the reactions of those around him. It almost makes me want to get back into FMA again.
One-shot, complete.
