On the Outside - Gravitation
Characters/Pairings: Tatsuha/Ryuuichi
Warnings: …None that I can think of. (God, I suck at warnings. I know at least one time I’ve actually forgotten there was a sex scene in a fic I was reccing because I skipped it over entirely. I’m pretty sure I didn’t do that in this one, but take my warnings with a grain of salt, okay?)
Summary: Tatsuha is resigned to being the good son, until he comes to Tokyo and is befriended by his idol.
Comments: The author does a damn good job of portraying Tatsuha as a realistic (to me, at least) teenager. He’s selfish, and occasionally thoughtless, a little rebellious, but when it comes down to it, he does care about his family. It’s long, which I like, but it has no real plot that I can discern, which I don’t like. Overall, though, it’s easily one of my favorite Gravitation fics. (Er. The fact that I can’t stand Shuichi probably helps with that though. Gravitation is one of those series where I hate the main characters and love the side characters. Sadly, the side characters don’t get written about that often, it seems.)
Notes: I am done with finals, done with my secret santa, halfway through my Christmas shopping, a third of the way through my holiday baking, and three quarters of the way through building my new computer. Meaning, I probably have enough time to get back to reccing now. Sorry about the break. I should note that I have a family situation developing that may lead to a sudden stop in recs at some point, but I’m really hoping that doesn’t happen, for more reasons than just this site.
Multi-chapter, incomplete.
