Like everyone who’s ever had a website, I occasionally glance at my referrers. And sometimes there are search terms used to find my website that make me weep and contemplate the inevitable downfall of humanity. Really, I’m not sure which is worse: knowing that people search for some of these things, or knowing that my website is found while searching for it. Think about it. Would you want a website that shows up in the search results for strawberry premature ejaculation?

Google: Lovecraftian cock
…I don’t know what scares me more, that there’s people looking for this, or that one of my recs actually uses that exact phrase.

Google: strawberry premature ejaculation
How? And who with? Does the strawberry come early, and spend the rest of the night apologizing to the watermelon? Or does premature ejaculation just taste like strawberries? Inquiring minds want to know.

Google: sailor moon mind control fics
Not quite the same caliber as the others, but for some reason it brought to mind a series of Ranma lemons I read about five years ago where Jusenkyo gave him magical mind control powers over everyone he had sex with. The part where he was trapped in Kuno’s fantasy of Ranma-chan, Kuno’s sister, and Akane all tied to beds where Kuno could have sex with them any time he chose kind of disturbed me.
     …Just thought I’d share that.

fanfic about duo maxwells death
…The worst part of this is, I have no idea whether or not this person’s a fan. In most fandoms, googling for character death fics is kind of a sign you don’t like the character. In GW, however, shoving a mouse up the ass of a character means that they’re your favorite. For all I know, death fics mean you care.

Google: Gojyo was been raped
Somehow, the “was been” adds the perfect touch to this google.

Google: FMA roy/ed nurse recs
You know, I really kind of hope that Roy’s the one in a nurse outfit. He’s much hotter in that than Ed is. Still, I regret to inform the googler that I have neither Ed nor Roy in a nurse outfit anywhere on my website. Or I don’t regret to inform them. One of the two.

Google: tentacle yaoi fanfiction -hentai
Am I missing something here? Or is removing hentai from the search results kind of missing the entire point of tentacle yaoi fanfiction?

Also, I have a question for anyone reading this. Which do you prefer, a site that updates once or twice a day, or a site that updates irregularly but with more fics with each update?

What I usually try to do, when I hit a rush of reccing a lot of fics in a short period of time, is postdate them so they’ll be posted at preset times over the next week or so. This is mainly so when I go through dry periods where I’m not seeing any fic that appeals to me, I still have something posted. The question is, would you prefer it if I just posted everything as I got it? Or would you rather I set it up so there’s something going up pretty much every day? I ask because I’m farther ahead than I’ve been since I figured out how to do this, and feel kind of guilty that I have 13 days worth of fics hidden in my to be posted section. So, what do you guys think?
