Comments: I’ve always been fond of Polly/Maladicta for various reasons, and this is a nice fic. It’s kind of… I don’t quite know how to describe it. It’s sweet and awkward and just how I think their relationship would begin.

Comments: Yes, Gimli is reacting as to a traditional PTerry elf. I’m not sure how this is going to affect Legolas’ characterization as yet, but if this fic continues to be as good as it is, it’s going on my top ten favorite fics ever. Because it’s Legolas and Gimli in Discworld. How could I not love that?

Summary: Two women with unusual circumstances bond over beer in Biers.
Comments: It’s Discworld femmeslash. Involving two of my favorite female characters. It’s well written, and in character (well, insofar as pairing Angua with anyone but Carrot can be in character). How could I not love it? Discworld isn’t a fandom I read much in because nothing can hold a candle to Terry Pratchett’s writing, but this is damn good nonetheless.

Harry Potter and the Improbable Use of Chaos Theory
Characters/Pairings: Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, Harry/Snape, Ron, Hermione, Voldemort, McGonagall/Greebo
Warnings: McGonagall/Greebo. Greebo, as you may know, is Nanny Ogg’s cat. Who occasionally turns human.
Summary: When Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg are accidentally transported to Hogwarts, they search for a wizard without finding him, and adopt a baby along the way.
Comments: There are not enough words in the English language to express my love for this fic. Allow me to quote a couple of paragraphs instead:
  ”The House-elves assured them that it was perfectly fine, no trouble at all, and indeed, an honor to be eaten by such a noble cat. “Hinky always was saying it was the way he wanted to go, Nanny Ogg, ma’am.”
  They even helped carry Hermione back to the tower.”
…Am I evil for cracking up at this?

Summary: Lucy Tockley, formerly known as Diamanda, goes to Ankh-Morpork to not be a witch. Sometimes, it’s harder than it seems.
Comments: I’m not a big fan of Discworld fanfic. There’s some universes that are just almost impossible to improve on, and the Discworld is one of them. But this author manages to actually get the feel of Pratchett’s writing down, and while I don’t think I’d ever mistake it for a part of a Discworld novel, it’s definitely worth a read.
