Comments: A beautifully done vignette on the Tam siblings. It’s just… It characterizes them both beautifully, and really managed to capture their relationship in a short amount of time.

Comments: I love well-done married couple pairings. And Zoe/Wash is hot. And works well. And this is a very well-done fic on how their relationship could have developed.
Notes: I finished watching the series yesterday, and am on my second fic rec. I think I need a new series category.

Summary: When Serenity gets stolen, her crew has to get her back.
Comments: Okay, I have a few problems with this fic. Mainly because I really can’t see Mal/Simon. Really, really can’t see it. I’m mostly a canon pairing fan in Firefly. But then I realized I was being a hypocrite because I’d really kind of like to see Inara/Kaylee. But besides the pairings, this is pretty well-done. By far the best part was Jayne. The only characterizations in this I really liked were him and Kaylee and maybe River, and Jayne’s subplot was just very well done. And it’s a decent idea for a fic. And it’s been a week or two since I’ve honestly read a fic that I enjoyed, and hell, it’s good enough to get me over my funk.
