Steps of the Dance
Pairings: Lafarga/Caldina
Warnings: None
Summary: The tale of Caldina’s childhood
Comments: Oddly, my second favorite pairing in Magic Knight Rayearth is Lafarga/Caldina. Yeah. I really go for the obscure stuff, don’t I? But this is a nicely written, if tragically incomplete story. I like Caldina, and this is a nice little fic about her.
Multi-chapter, incomplete.

Futari ga Onaji
Pairings: Hikaru/Lantis, implied Hikaru/Eagle, mentioned implied Lantis/Hikaru/Eagle
Warnings: No threesome. I think it deserves a warning. *sulks*
Summary: Eagle decides to step aside to push Lantis and Hikaru together. Umi thinks he’s an idiot. So do I.
Comments: I like this because it’s the one and only fic I’ve found that has Hikaru and Lantis together, and deals with Eagle’s feelings in a realistic way. (No, I’m not interested in anime-based fics realistically dealing with Eagle’s feelings, thanks). I still don’t quite understand Eagle’s reasoning, but then, I’m enough of a die-hard HLE fangirl that you would have to hit me over the head with a stick saying “If Eagle and Lantis and Hikaru are together, the world will end and there will be a rebellion in Autozam and Cephiro, and they will be executed. Really.” So, yeah. It’s a nicely done fic.
One-shot, complete.

Crash and Burn
Pairings: None so far.
Warnings: None.
Summary: When there is an emergency in Autozam, Eagle falls back into flashbacks of his past.
Comments: I am a massive Eagle fangirl. I went without lunch for two weeks so I could buy Rayearth II, just for him. A well-written, plausible tale of Eagle’s life is like a dream come true. I’ll admit there’s a few things that could make me happier - the author acknowledges the possibility of Hikaru/Lantis/Eagle, but chooses to just go with Hikaru/Lantis, which irritates me. Especially since ever since reading the last Magic Knight Rayearth manga, I have been unable not to think of them as a threesome. But it’s well written, and I like the way she depicts Eagle as a young kid, because I can actually sort of see that.
Multi-chapter, incomplete.
