Conflicting Loyalties
Characters/Pairings: Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon, Anakin, Qui-Gon/Shmi.
Warnings: Mentioned rape, graphic sex, betrayal, slash, and minor mentioned child molestation in a way.
Summary: Obi-Wan finds Qui-Gon again, scarred in ways he can’t even begin to imagine.
Comments: This fic, to me, has always been the epitome of a good Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon fic. I’m sure it has something to do with the fact that I first found it when it was recced from a ship_manifesto essay on Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan, but in all honesty, this is a damn good fic. Both of them are kept in character, Obi-Wan doesn’t abandon all his duties for his returned from the dead (no, not literally) master, and it has an interesting premise. And it takes it’s ideas, and doesn’t flinch away from some of the harsher consequences. Damnit, if you’re going to screw up a relationship before getting them back together, you should screw it up properly, and here’s a good example of how.
Note: While reading this, I kept contemplating telling my professors “Sorry my homework’s late. I was busy reading gay Jedi porn.” And now I’m going to work on my homework, so I don’t end up having to tell them that. Even if it would be funny.

Jedi Exiles
Characters/Pairings: Obi-Wan/Bruck, OCs, Qui-Gon, and many others that I don’t care to list right now.
Warnings: Um. None for now. If the author ever gets around to finishing it, it’ll be rated for sex, but right now it isn’t. Slash pairings, I guess.
Summary: 8 Jedi padawans discover a terrible secret: a Sith. Not knowing who the Sith is, nor able to convince the Council or even their masters that the Sith even exists, the padawans break from the Jedi in order to pursue their findings.
Comments: If I want to read a damn good honest-to-god epic, I know where to look. This is just an excellently written space opera on a grand scale, and you just don’t get that much in fanfiction.
Long multi-chapter epic, divided up into four parts. The first part’s complete, the other three parts only have intermittent parts written, which may or may not be too frustrating for you.

Sith Academy
Characters/Pairings: Centers on Obi-Wan and Darth Maul. Obi’s paired up with half the male cast, so not saying.
Warnings: Graphic sex, slash, yaoi, crossdressing, name it and it’s probably warned about.
Summary: A parody series of Maul’s travails as the apprentice of Darth Sidious. Living in the same apartment building as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Comments: This series is a classic, and for damn good reason. The stories tend to be well-written, and it’s just a fun, fun series with a lot more depth to it than you’d think at first.
181 loosely-connected one-shots, complete.

Paths in the Darkness
Pairings: Vader/Lei
Warnings: Graphic sex, mind control, prison fic, unknowing incest, dark!Leia. Oh, and het. Not my usual rec.
Summary: Vader does his best to use Leia. Leia, on the other hand, has her own ideas.
Comments: Much darker than what I’ve been reccing lately. But I frequently bemoan the lack of really strong women in the fics I read. Admittedly, it probably helps if there’s a strong woman in canon. But even when there is, half the time people butcher their characters. *coughHo!mionecough* But this Leia is strong and sensual and determined, even if now she’s ambitious and ruthless. And you know what? I like her like this.
One-shot, complete.

Waking Dream
Bits and Pieces
Cold
Diverging Paths
Pairings: Qui-Gon/Obi Wan
Warnings: Slash, I suppose.
Summary: What would happen if Obi-Wan gained the memories of his entire life in the Star Wars canon when he was sixteen? Long before the events of The Phantom Menace. How would things change?
Comments: This is everything I love in an AU. A single change, and a thorough exploration of the cascading results of the change. The author’s Obi-Wan is as strong as he bloody well should be. (My pet peeve is weakening a strong character for the sake of making him the female member of a slash pairing. It makes no sense.) Obi-Wan is just…wonderful and wise and Qui-Gon’s just written wonderfully and the way she deals with Anakin is just interesting. And I want more, dammit.
Series of independent stories, incomplete.
