Veritaserum
Characters/Pairings: Harry/Ron/Hermione
Warnings: Sex
Summary: Years after the trio had an argument and separated, Hermione takes the first steps towards reunification.
Comments: A very nicely done H/R/H fic. It’s nicely written, a decent premise, and just… it’s kind of what I can actually see happening sometime in the future. Not entirely (it was written pre-HBP, and I can tell), but mostly. And I like the Hermione characterization.
Notes: I was planning on having my blog imported to the new website by my 500th post. Unfortunately, I’m on my 495th, and, well, I’m running into problems. I just have too many posts for the solution I was planning, and the other possible solutions are either awkward as all hell, or not practical. (Such as manually importing each and every post into the website. I could, yes.) So… really I just wanted to bitch about that.
One-shot, complete.
To Broken Men
Characters/Pairings: Naruto/Sakura/Kakashi. No, really.
Warnings: None.
Summary: A year before they leave to go find Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura decide it would be a good idea to seduce Kakashi.
Comments: It’s well written, a fascinating couple, and just made me grin madly. (I also desperately want to read the promised sequel, where they seduce Sasuke. Um. It probably won’t be as porny as it sounds.)
One-shot, complete.
Trick of Love
CHaracters/Pairings: Harry/Ron/Hermione
Warnings: Sex
Summary: Everyone warns them not to live together, but they do anyway. To save money, and to keep from being separated. Sexual tension ensues.
Comments: I like the first half more than the second half, I’ll admit. Mainly because the second half is the half with graphic sex, and sorry, I barely ever read graphic sex scenes because they’re boring. But it’s well done, and I mostly like the characterizations. I like the way that Harry and Ron are still very male, especially since, sadly, that is frequently not the case. I found Ron and Harry’s relationship being the first of the three to form an interesting idea. For the most part, the threesomes I read start off het or as threesomes. It’s much rarer to see them start off as slash, and I kind of like the way that that changes the dynamics. And it’s a well-written fic.
Multi-chapter, complete.
Bed and Board
Characters/Pairings: Harry/Ron/Hermione
Warnings: Sex.
Summary: After the war, the world around them erupts in a frenzy of domesticity, until it almost seems that the three of them are the only ones left who remember the horrors of the war.
Comments: An interesting post-war fic. I like the way that Harry is brought into Ron and Hermione’s relationship. And I kind of like the world that the author drew. It should be nice and reassuring, but it comes off as creepy, and I like it when the author manages to pull off an effect like that. And, you know, it’s a R/H/H threesome.
Multi-chapter, complete.
Sand and Glass
Characters/Pairings: Neji/Hinata/Naruto
Warnings: None
Summary: When Naruto comes back to Konoha, nothing is the same.
Comments: A fairly long, well done fic. At first, I wasn’t thrilled with it. For some reason, while I like Neji/Hinata and Naruto/Hinata, I’m usually not a big fan of this threesome. (And this is me saying that. Did you know that approximately 8 percent of my recs are threesomes? And that it’s one of my bigger categories?) But I like this. It has a very soft feel to it, and it was kind of slow to draw me in. I’m still a little confused as to why Naruto was gone so long, and how the author resolved the whole Sasuke situation. And that, frankly, bugged me the entire time. But it’s still nicely written, and the relationship itself is very nicely done. I think I’m just being nitpicky.
One-shot, complete.
Rituals
Characters/Pairings: Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke
Warnings: Crossdressing
Summary: After the bad missions, the three have their own rituals to recovery
Comments: Very nice. It’s angsty, but almost fluffy angst. I’m a bit iffy about some issues of Sasuke’s characterization (Well, more than a bit, really), but I think the author did a nice job of absolutely nailing Naruto’s and Sakura’s characterization.
One-shot, complete.
Perfectly Acceptable Oddity
Characters/Pairings: Hinata/Kiba/Shino
Warnings: None
Summary: “Team 8 operates in odd ways.”
Comments: Do you have any idea how long I’ve been looking for a Team 8 vaguely threesome fic? Months, it seems. And this is…to be honest, it’s more than a little too short for my tastes, and not spectacularly original enough to make up for the fact, but it’s Hinata/Shino/Kiba vague threesomeness! …Okay, I’m easy.
One-shot, complete.
Discoveries Mirror (because ff.net is a bitch about changing all their urls and totally screwing up my bookmarks)
Characters/Pairings: Yuki, Kyou, Tohru
Warnings: None
Summary: When Hanajima and Uotani discover the Souma curse, Yuki and Kyou take Tohru and flee to the mountains before Akito can order her memory erased.
Comments: Merrow’s probably one of the best authors in the Fruits Basket fandom (even if I haven’t been seriously in it for a year or so, and have no idea who most the best ones are) and Discoveries is by far my favorite fic in the fandom. It’s just so very nicely done, and it deals so very well with how they would deal with suddenly living on their own in the mountains, and my inner OT3 fangirl is just jumping up and down with glee. Even though it’s technically gen. (Why are there no true Yuki/Tohru/Kyo fics in Fruits Basket fandom? I dream of the day that I get a novel-length, excellently written, tightly plotted Yuki/Tohru/Kyo fic that resolves the Souma mysteries and gives the resolution that the Fruits Basket manga seems like it’s never going to give. I love Fruits Basket, but give me a break. I want resolution, dammit.
…And I got completely sidetracked, didn’t I? Er. Read the fic.
Multichapter, incomplete.
Teddy
Characters/Pairings: Ino/Shika/Cho
Warnings: Threesome
Summary: Ino’s bitchy and snappy and bossy, and Shikamaru’s lazy and slow and doesn’t do much. But Chouji’s always there for them.
Comments: I have a longstanding love for fics that make relationships comfortable. Most the other fics I see have relationships that are grand dramas, or endlessly bickering, or melodramatic rivalries, and those are fun, I’ll admit. But give me a relationship where the people involved just… trust each other and know each other so well that it’s just comfortable and I will be thrilled. I like that.
One-shot, complete.
No Greater Pleasure
Characters/Pairings: Mitsuru, Shinobu, Kazuhiro. Implied threesome. Hasukawa.
Warnings: Implied threesome.
Summary: Hasukawa is surrounded by people whose number one joy in life is to torture him?
Comments: This? Is so much in character that I just felt the need to fangirl it. It’s a little short for my taste, but the way everyone just gangs up on Hasukawa never fails to amuse me.
One-shot, complete.
Second Place
The Silence of Prayer
Inside the Castle Walls
A Wish for Happy Returns
Hanged On Bent Nails
The Influence of Rain
Born Again, the Virgin Bleeds
And the Truth Comes Out
In the Jagged Edges
Characters/Pairings: Near/Mello. L/Near/Mello.
Warnings: Sex. Sex. All but one or two of these have graphic underage gay sex. The first has graphic underage gay threesome sex with an authority figure. “And the Truth Comes Out” has semi-graphic torture.
Summary: Near and Mello train to succeed L together. AU from chapter 58.
Comments: I still can’t quite bring myself to go back to DN after chapter 58 and continue reading, but god, Harukami writes Near and Mello beautifully. These are two very fucked up teenagers, with a very untraditional upbringing and a very complex relationship, and dear god I want to hug them and tell them that they don’t have to be fucked up. And god, I love her Mello. (Not that I’m obsessively stalking her Mello at CFUD *cough* The DN cast there is great. So’s the Bleach, and the Allen from D.Greyman forced me to download and read that series, and the Anthy is magnificent and I’ll stop fangirling now befoer I get totally sidetracked). Oddly, by far my favorite fic in the series is “And the Truth Comes Out”. With no sex whatsoever. But the way they work together perfectly even while they’re completely misunderstanding each other, and the total and utter fucked-upness of it all is sheer love.

Because We Three Are One
Characters/Pairings: Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke/(Kakashi?)
Warnings: Non-graphic threesome.
Summary: A good relationship should be messy, awkward, and not very nice, at times. But the rest of it makes up for it.
Comments: The second paragraph of the fic caught my attention and made absolutely sure that I was going to enjoy the fic: “But in the bedroom she forgot that she had the potential to be the strongest kunochi in Konoha’s history and he forgot he didn’t know everything and she became the meek little girl she had always become around him, and sucked her stomach in to look prettier and tried to remain in a sexy pose and struggled not the cry when he fell miles short of her expectation, whilst he cursed himself for not knowing how to reach out without force.” Because, um, wow. If that doesn’t sum up how Sasuke and Sakura’s relationship would probably start, we’ve been watching different series. And the author continues to just nail the characterization, and the fic just sparkles. And, you know, hints of Kakashi joining in the fun don’t hurt.
One-shot, complete.
Work In Progress
Characters/Pairings: Sasuke/Naruto/Sakura
Warnings: Implied threesome sex.
Summary: When Sasuke lost his family, he lost some part of himself. With his team, he starts regaining them.
Comments: Yes, my OT3. For some reason, this line amused me far too much: “He figured Naruto would say it was his brain that he’d lost, so he didn’t tell Naruto his theory.” But I thought the author struck the right reaction for Sasuke on finding himself abruptly domesticized by his teammates: “I must go and achieve vengeance now. Bye. *flees in panic*” Overall, the author did a nice job of nailing the characters.
One-shot, complete.
Five Things That Never Happened to Kotori Monou
Characters/Pairings: Yuzuriha/Kotori, Kamui/Kotori, Fuuma/Kamui, Fumma/Kamui/Kotori. And Kotori-centric gen.
Summary: See title.
Comments: I’ve had this in my bookmarks for ages upon ages and apparently never recced it. I have an inexplicable fondness for the girls of X (I like the boys too, but there’s so much fic for most of them that I’m kind of sick of it. The girls on the other hand…) Kotori was never my favorite character, though - too weak, too nice, too boring. But these flesh her character out wonderfully. My favorite’s the one where Kotori and Fuuma decide to share Kamui, but we knew that, didn’t we?
One-shot, complete.
This Is Our Place
Characters/Pairings: Sakura/Sasuke/Naruto.
Warnings: None
SUmmary: In the far-off future, when Naruto has become Hokage, the three of them are still together.
Comments: This is just a nice little fic. It’s short and sweet and I like the calm and comfortable air about their relationship. In another twenty or thirty years, I can see the three of them developing like this. I like the little details the author adds - Sasuke’s unnamed genin team, that he plans on testing against some missing nins in the area, Naruto’s cheerful disregard of the usual unstated rules about what the Hokage should be (dignified, for one), the way they’re just quietly sitting and eating ramen together, just everything. It’s just a nice, quiet, calm fic.
One-shot, complete.
Pervert
Characters/Pairings: Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke, a little Kakashi/Iruka, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Hinata, Ino.
Warnings: …You know, I hate writing the warning section because I’m usually not sure what to warn for.
Summary: As the news of Team 7’s unusually close relationship spreads, everyone is certain that they know exactly who to blame.
Comments: A short, funny little ficlet that I really enjoyed. And if I write any more this will be longer than the fic.
One-shot, complete.
Coming Home
Characters/Pairings: Sakura/Naruto in the context of a Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke threesome.
Warnings: Graphic het sex
Summary: When Sakura comes home after a long solo mission, Naruto welcomes her.
Comments: I just really liked the dynamics of the fic. The sex was decently written (I skim sex scenes, so I’m not really that clear on it, but I didn’t see any weeping ninjahoods or anything). The way Naruto liked her as a woman, while Sasuke liked her as a soldier was great. And the pictures that Sasuke took of them having sex were just wonderful. It was sweet more than sexy, to me, but then I sometimes think I have the sex drive of a dead rotifer. (Anyone who knows what that is gets fifty billion points) And the author even illustrated the pictures too.
One-shot, complete
Teaching Skills
Pairings: Implied Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura
Warnings: Um, talk about masturbation, I guess.
Summary: Naruto and Sakura discover a strange deficiency in Sasuke’s eduction and move to remedy it.
Comments: Sasuke should never become a teacher. Really, he shouldn’t. The way he treated the poor, poor kids was perfect. The way Naruto then dealt with the poor kids was perfect. The way this lead to the revelations of Sasuke’s educational deficiency was also perfect. What I love about Harukami’s writing is that she has a knack for writing in-character crack. (I like her serious stuff too, but good humour is a hell of a lot harder to find than good serious fic).
One-shot, complete
Two Thirds
Pairings: Sakura/Sasuke/Naruto ^__^
Warnings: None
Summary: Sakura needs Sasuke and Naruto and they need her.
Comments: This is just a good fic that really develops their relationship in a plausible way. I adored the way that Sakura reassured him in the end, because I really do see their relationship working like that - Sakura always being the first one to talk, and the boys following her example to some extent. (Frankly, one of my biggest issues with Sasuke/Naruto is I just don’t see them ever communicating enough for a successful relationship. I think they need Sakura to moderate their rivalry a bit. And most Sasuke/Naruto fics butcher Sakura’s characterization, anyway). But I liked how Sasuke and Sakura dealt with it when Naruto was gone, but still how neither of them were enough for each other on their own, because Naruto was missing. And this is just a well-written fic.
One-shot, complete.
Tension, Before
Tides
Characters/Pairings: Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, heading towards a threesome.
Warnings: Sasuke spoilers. Sadly, I have no idea when the major Sasuke spoilers take place in anime or manga, so I can’t tell you what episodes they’re about.
Summary: When Sasuke is reunited with his friends after three long years apart, they must flee Konoha in order for Sasuke to achieve his vengeance.
Comments: I love love love the characterizations in this. The author manages to deal, I think realistically, what sort of problems Sasuke might have with adjusting back to being with the three. And you know, I can picture Naruto and Sakura abandoning Konoha for Sasuke’s sake. And the three of them adjusting to living together all by themselves away from everyone they’ve ever known is interesting to read. Actually, the fic it really reminds me of is Discoveries in the Fruits Basket fandom. I just wish I could remember if I’ve recced that yet.
Multi-chapter, incomplete.
