Rewriting The Rules

Summary: Subaru is a history teacher, and Seishirou is his student from hell. Will Subaru get through the year without being molested by his student? AU, obviously.
Comments: …Crack should not be this entertaining. And cute. And utterly, utterly brilliant. My absolute favorite part is the opening paragraph of an essay Seishirou wrote for Subaru:
      “Education, as a facet of human existence, is one of the most important and universal aspects of society. Despite cultural differences and conflicting belief structures, it is common to every civilisation throughout history, distinguishing us, as does the faculty of language, from other animal species. What, then, is the significance of education that makes it such an imperative feature of a civilised people? It is not the content, nor the structure; different things are taught in different countries at different times, and they are taught in as many different ways as there are cultures. Nor is it the identity of student or teacher, for education has not always been as accessible as it is today. And this, sensei, brings me to my most important point: I couldn’t give a shit about the significance of education in human society. In fact, I’m a lot more interested in the idea of bending you backward over your desk and making you beg, so I’m going to write an essay about that instead.”

Summary: Subaru should know better than to allow himself to faint in public. After all, who knows what sort of unsavory people might take it into mind to kidnap him? Besides Seishirou, I mean. Or not.
Comments: It’s cute, and fluffy, and still more than a little fucked up. Just what a Seishirou/Subaru fic should be. There were a couple of absolutely classic lines in there. And Subaru on painkillers is cute.

A Necessary Evil

Summary: Is there a great evil hiding in the head of the Sumeragi clan?
Comments: This is just one of those fanfics that I just honestly regret that there is only one chapter. It’s a fascinating idea, in the hands of one of the very few authors I trust to pull it off. And the prologue is excellent and fascinating. And I just wish there were more.
Theoretically multi-chapter, incomplete.

A Cunning Plan
Characters/Pairings: Fai, Hokuto. Syaoran, Sakura, Mokona.
Warnings: Crossdressing.
Summary: Fai and Hokuto would get along scarily well. So why not have them meet? (An original Tsubasa!Hokuto, not Tokyo Babylon!Hokuto).
Comments: I love Hokuto. And I love Fai. And dear god, those two should never be allowed within five hundred miles of each other.
Notes: I am a dumbass who couldn’t figure out that disabling cookies on my browser could, just possibly, be what was preventing me from logging in.

Of Mothers And Sex Advice

Summary: When Seishirou finally brings Subaru to his bed, he finds he has a too-helpful ghost giving him advice.
Comments: I like this fic. It’s absolutely hilarious, and I like the vaguely threesome vibes I get from it. (You know, I actually think I read a true Subaru/Seishirou/Setsuka threesome once. I just wish I could remember where). Setsuka’s “helpful” advice cracks me up.

Yami no Kopi-raito

Comments: I was checking my referrers and got someone looking for “Hisoka and Subaru similarities” which reminded me of this fic. It’s weird and funny. My type of fic.

Summary: What happens if Subaru’s the one to die?
Comments: I like this interpretation of the old “What happens if the other twin survives?” idea. Hokuto, bitter but still recognizably herself, mentoring Kamui and dealing with her brother’s responsibilities. Here, Sephy’s tendency towards long paragraphs of description works for me, as it’s dealing with how Hokuto’s fashion sense changes after Subaru’s death. And it’s just good.
